Our four apartments in the Longhouse

In Dådran’s Långbyggningen (longhouse) we have four retro styled apartments that historically were used as workers’ lodging during the ironworks and timber periods of Dådran. All of the apartments have their own kitchens including ovens, fridges, and microwaves, plus all cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.  Each apartment has it’s own bathroom with shower and toilet.  The two larger apartments have two bedrooms and the other two have one bedroom each. Usually guests bring their own linen but we can supply the sheets pillowcases and towels for 100 Sek per person).

Blueberry apartment- This is probably the brightest apartment because it is situated at the end of the longhouse and has extra windows. It has a large kitchen/dining, two bedrooms, plus a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed while the other has a typical swedish bulk bed (våningssäng) plus a sofa and coffee table. The bathroom also has a clothes washing machine.

Elk apartment – This has one bedroom/lounge room, a large kitchen/dining, and a bathroom. The bedroom has one single bed but the sofa can also be a bed for up to two people. So although this apartment is designed for two people, it would be possible to have up to four.

Hungry Bear apartment – The 2nd two bedroom apartment we have. A smaller bedroom for three persons (one single bed and one bulkbed (våningssäng). The large bedroom also doubles as the lounge area with a sofa and table. The kitchen has plenty of fridge space and cupboard space for a few weeks stay.

Midsummer apartment – This one bedroom apartment includes a large kitchen/dining and bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed plus a sofa and coffee table.
